A version of this game was released in Brazil called M么nica no Castelo do Drag茫o, which translates to "Monica in the Dragon's Castle". Instead of Tom-Tom, the player is M么nica, a character based on a famous Brazilian comic. When Wonderboy III: The Dragon's Trap was converted, the game also featured M么nica and her fellow characters.
