Mapple

Mapple is a 1-player platforming arcade game for the Apple II.

The player controls a small character who can can travel left and right and jump. Two cannons traverse vertically on both edges of the screen, and the player must avoid their shots as they travel through the maze levels. Purple trampolines are present, which allow the player to jump to higher ledges than their normally short jumps will allow. Some levels contain teleporters or monsters which run about. The player must collect all purple tokens on the level, and then return to the bottom layer of the maze. The player has 1000 time units to complete each level, and starts with 3 men. The player receives an extra life each level, and it's game over when all are lost.
