Night Crawler

Night Crawler is a Centipede clone for the Apple II.

The player controls a small creature which can move horizontally, but also a short distance vertically. The player can fire vertically. The player must shoot a multi-pronged centipede that rapidly descends the screen by moving horizontally, descending, and moving back the other direction. If the centipede reaches the bottom of the screen, the game is lost. The player must avoid jumping spiders, and fleas that descend from above leaving mushroom barricades behind. When all centipedes are destroyed, the player advances to a faster moving stage.
