Angels & Demigods

Angels & Demigods is a visual novel designed to be played using virtual reality headgear, it is fully voiced and can also be played on a Windows pc. The initial release consists of Chapter 1 only and kickstarter support was sought to fund further development.

The story takes place in the far future where mankind has spread throughout the galaxy and where factions and worlds are still fighting among themselves. The planet Enceladus doesn't get bothered much. They have developed genetically engineered warriors called 'angels' to protect them against any aggressor. Angels are normal people who are placed in 'the angelic womb' where they undergo a metamorphosis, they stay in this womb until they are needed. Once hatched they are immensely powerful but they only live for three days.

The player takes the role of an angel who has been hatched. Instead of fighting to defend Enceladus from a threat he finds that his role is to negotiate with Ashley one of his own kind who hatched spontaneously. His task is to persuade her to return to the the lab, known as The Chapel in-game, but she doen't want to come.
