Panoptic

Panoptic is a two player 'hunter vs hunted' game where one player uses a VR headset and the other uses a standard keyboard/mouse PC setup The player using a VR headset plays as 'The Overseer', an immensely powerful being with a laser who is in charge of this little virtual world. The player using the PC is a rogue citizen seeking to destroy 'The Overseer'.

The Overseer's power comes from a series of glowing orbs which the PC player can destroy by simply touching them, there are also power pressure plates which can be temporarily deactivated by touch. While the PC player is sneaking around looking for these power orbs the VR player is searching for them, their eye can observe their world, their lens can detect traces of the player's energy signature and obviously their laser can kill the PC player
Naturally the PC player would be an obvious target if they were the only citizen in this world but they are not, there are many others milling around and performing routine tasks, the PC player can hide among them by aping their movements and actions.
