An empty racing game with familiar figures.

The Good
The only quality this game has: a somehow loyal environment to the Flintstone's world. But even there it's overused.

And the music isn't out of touch with the game.

The Bad
The mechanic of the game is simple but unexplained so you lose a couple of times until you've figured out that winning the race is not enough to progress onto the next one. The game plays like it's still a work in progress, no voice acting, huge one-way map with almost nothing to spice the plain road, little to none customization. I'd recommend launching another game on the side and switch back and forth so you won't forget that video games are fun.

The almost permanent drifting sound (although you do not drift) is a constant needed reminder that you are on a race track but the comparison stops there.

You progress through the 12 races of the game like a fish circling its fishtank. Difficulty is absent, the first IA behind you will sometimes be on your feet (talons) but nothing to worry about. In solo mode, your character choice has very little repercussion to your playstyle and overall the replayability of the game is null.

The worst and most memorable trait would be the rearview button, where you can see from very close an unblinking, soul-staring, permanent grinning, 3D render of your beloved characters. Luigi has found its masters.

The Bottom Line
It's a shame to realize this is to this day the last Flintstones game we've got. Don't bother, I only know one racing game worse than this one and it's for a next review...
