Rocket Command
- Rocket Command (1983 on ZX Spectrum)
Description
Rocket Command is a 1 - player arcade game for the Apple II.
The player is in control of three rocket defense turrets located at the the bottom left, center, and right of the screen. Interspersed between these are 6 cities, which the player must defend. Each turn, a number of rockets come streaming from the sky towards the cities and turrets, and the player must try to shoot them down before the unlucky inhabitants are destroyed. When a city is lost, it's gone. Every turn the three turrets, if destroyed, are rebuilt. Players receive a final score based upon the number of rockets shot down, and the number of cities that survive each turn. On higher levels, planes and enemy spaceships make an appearance, and can be shot down.
