Extremely fun and funny adventure game

The Good
The writing and the humor in this game were just phenomenal. The developer took the time to write a unique response for just about every combination of inventory item and character - and there are a lot of both items and characters! What's more, the responses are generally very funny. This guy should be writing for AAA titles. One other thing I LOVED about the game is that after you beat it, you have access to a "special" mode, similar to some RPGs. In this mode, you remember having beaten the game and can take different actions, and a lot of things are subtly different, but the other characters don't remember that the events have played out once before. It's a lot of fun. On that note, the graphics were very nice, and the audio soundtrack was fun as well.

The Bad
The only thing I didn't like was that there were SO many characters and SO many objects that at times, you could get lost just remembering where people were and what you needed to do to help them. It also would have been nice if the game has voice acting, but as an indie effort, that's fairly typical. Finally, I probably would have preferred a point and click interface, but the keyboard interface worked OK once you get used to it.

The Bottom Line
A really fun and humorous indie adventure game with fair puzzles that doesn't take too long to play, but which you'll enjoy a lot while the ride lasts.
