The game starts with an animated sequence in which Sir Topham Hatt talks to the engines about their jobs in the run up to the festival

The game's menu. Clicking on Thomas starts a journey around the island. The book opens Sit Topham Hatt's office where there are certificates and other printables. Sir Topham Hatt is always there to help

The Engine Shed: Here the player helps Thomas, Percy and Gordon prepare for the day by cleaning and oiling them. All the engines start off quite dirty

The Engine Shed: After cleaning Thomas must be oiled, each yellow dot is an oiling spot. Then his bolts must be tightened, yellow spots appear for that too. Finally he needs coal in his tender. The process is then repeated other the other two engines

Between each mini game is a short animation, this one shows Thomas passing Gordon who is on a turntable

The Rock Fall At The Quarry: Harold the Helicopter comes to clear the line by moving rocks. There are three rounds, in round one the rocks can go in any truck. In rounds two and three symbols on the truck indicate the size of the rock they carry

Unloading Bulstrode At The Harbour: Bulstrode is the barge and he has a cargo of packages for the festiva. The player uses Cranky the Crane to unload them. This is a shape matching game

Picking Up Passengers With Annie And Clarabel: This is a counting game. The player's task is to select right number of passengers from the crowd at the station

Cow Roundup With Terence: In this mini game Terence the Tractor herds the cows back into their pen

Assembling Stalls And Rides With Harold: This is a bit like a jigsaw puzzle in which the player uses Harold the Helicopter to build the festival rides by selecting pieces in the right order

Making Music At The Festival: There are lots of instruments in the band that can be played by clicking on them. The cow makes a noise too
