Description

Fury is a 1 or 2 player arcade game for the TRS-80.

The player controls a small spaceship which can rotate 360 degrees, and fire in the direction it is facing. The player is able to apply thrust to propel their craft forwards, and can also warp about the screen to a random location. The player and enemies can also loop off one side of the screen and appear on the opposite. On each level, the player's goal is to destroy all enemy vessels with increasingly difficult alien waves. Levels occur in a pattern, where the first level consists of a number of fast moving vessels that flit randomly about the screen. The second level consists of vessels that home in on the player, initially in 4 parts, they combine at a center area, and then move about randomly. The third wave consists of an alien base, whose shield must be shot out and destroyed. These three level types then repeat at progressively higher difficulty. The player gains a bonus score for finishing a level quickly, and has a total of three spaceships.
