The Farvar Legacy

The Farvar Legacy is a text adventure for the TRS-80.

As the last surviving Farvar, you have inherited a castle just outside the ancient village of Estalz. Upon entering your new home, you become cursed by the former inhabitant Hugo Farvar, to become a vampire, becoming destined to murder one of the townspeople nightly. Hunted by the angry townspeople, the player finds they have become immortal, even when killed they are destined to wake up every morning in the master bedroom. The player must find a mystical amulet to help protect them from this curse at night, so that they might keep their senses. A day/night cycle is implemented, where different events happen during the day and night. The player must explore the local town and the extensive grounds of their castle to try to find the cure to their curse. A save/restore option is available.
