Star Trap

Star Trap is a 1 -2 player arcade game for the TRS-80.

A series of stars bounce between a 3x3 grid on the top and bottom of the screen. The player must attempt to trap these stars by opening a door in the appropriate space on the bottom grid, and only one door can be opened at a time to catch the falling star. The player has 999 time units to catch as many stars as possible, and if all stars on the screen are captured, a new set of stars appears. The player can shoot a rotating nova from an open space, which will bounce and destroy all stars in that spot, but cannot be fired again until it is recaptured. The goal is to maximize score.
