NBA 2K21

This version of NBA 2K21, also informally called NBA 2K21 Next Generation, is different from the release of NBA 2K21 for PS4, Switch, Windows and Xbox One.

Advancements exclusive to this version are improved graphics, quicker loading times, larger crowds in the arena to create busier sights and sounds and the use of the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback of the PS5's DualSense controller to feel the energy and fatigue of players while in a match.

Features and modes exclusive to this version are for instance the City as a new map with basketball activities and multiple districts and factions. It also introduces the WNBA MyPLAYER experience as a first for the series allowing the player to take a female basketball player through a pro career featuring all 12 WNBA teams. This can also be taken online through the 3v3 MyPLAYER competition with a new court exclusive to this mode. In Your Own Basketball Journey the MyCAREER mode can be taken from high school to get a full four-year college ball experience in one of 10 US universities or head to the NBA G League. MyNBA and MyWNBA are revamped as a new franchise mode. Custom NBA leagues can have 36 teams or be reduced to 12. This version also contains 350 music tracks.
