Ordinal Markup

Moby ID: 153495

Description

Ordinal Markup is an idle game using the concept of ordinal numbers from formal set theory. Ordinal numbers are mostly used to represent different "types" of infinities. For example, the set of all natural numbers, and the set of all distinct sets of natural numbers are both infinite in size, but they are not the same size. (There is no requirement to actually understand this to play the game.) As one might expect, numbers get really big, really fast.

The game starts with simply clicking a button to increase a number by one, but it quickly opens up to include autoclickers, factors, (multipliers to the number) and factor shifts. (Factor shifts decrease the base of the number; with a base of 5, the number will go directly from 44 to 100.) There are a great many features to unlock, including Factor Boosts, Booster Upgrades, challenges, Aleph Power, Singularities, and many more.
