Conqueror

Conqueror is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80.

The player controls a spaceship that moves horizontally on the bottom of the screen, and fires vertically upwards. The player must combat waves of alien spaceships. Aliens move rapidly across the screen, with two groups moving in opposite directions. When they cross the screen, they move down a row, and reverse direction. When an alien ship is hit, it dives directly downwards towards the player. The player starts with 5 lives, and when they clear an alien field, they warp to the next encounter.
