Microzine Jr. #5
Description
Microzine Jr. is an educational disk-based magazine for students under age 10 published by Scholastic starting in 1988. Each issue generally contains a simple adventure game, often with a Choose Your Own Adventure Style. Issues also contain software to initialize a data disk, as well as letters to the editor. Issue no. 5 contains:* Board Silly: Allows the user to create and print out a custom board game
- Micro Mystery: The Case of the Class Trip: Wanda has gone missing from Ramone during a trip to the zoo. Follow the clues to answer a number of questions about Wanda's whereabouts.
- Something Fishy: An electronic fish tank, where the player can feed the fish or tap the glass to cause reactions of the animals.
- Your Town: Your friend Julia is coming over for a birthday party, but her present, a computer game, has gone missing. The player must follow clues left by their brother Larry to find their missing board game. The player must travel through town, being careful to follow traffic instructions, and visit the correct place before the party starts at 11:00 am. At each location, the player must speak with the workers there, and receive a riddle to their next location.
