Opowieści CyberMychy

Opowieści Cybermychy is an educational game for children attending primary school. Game provides several activities that allow children to practice and gain knowledge in a few school subjects.

A mouse is mainly required to play the game and keyboard is used in some of the activities and games. There is no installer, so the game can be launched directly from the CD.

The main menu displays 6 school-related categories:

• Plan lekcji (Lesson plan) - one of several templates, fill week timetable by typing school subjects (school year 2001/2002) and print it
• Lekcja angielskiego (English lesson) - this category contains 3 English lessons. Each of them contains voiced scene with family, English alphabet with common and known items, nursery rhyme, coloring book and switch to toggle on/off Polish translation of words and sentences visible on the screen
• Lekcja matematyki (Maths lesson) - category is split into 4 “operations”: addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Each operation contains 12 levels of game similar to Frogger. Here, the player must move the unnamed hero from top of the screen to the very bottom by jumping on platforms marked with numbers. Goal is to form equation that is true
• Lekcja informatyki (Computer science lesson) - category contains website-creator where players can define layout, style and content of created website and save it on a disk. There is also a lexicon with several definitions and terms related to computer science
• Lekcja historii (History lesson) - category recycles content from one of previous games released by Longsoft Multimedia called Orle Gniazdo. There is an animated movie about the founding legend of Poland known as Lech, Czech i Rus as well as lexicon with definitions and terms appearing in this animation.
• Lekcja plastyki (Art lesson) - category contains another lexicon with art-related terms and definitions. There is also a memo game with no real connection to the category’s topic and puzzles based on known paintings.
