Andorra

Andorra is a 1-player strategy game for the Apple II.

The player has been elected as president of the small country of Andorra for a 3 year term, and the goal is to get reelected for another term. Each turn, the player has an income based upon the set property tax, income tax, corporate taxes, and tariffs. If they are set too high, the people will revolt and the player is deposed. After collecting income, the player chooses to veto, agree, or negotiate a number of bills. If they approve the bills, their approval rate will increase, but if the expenditures are too high, the country will go into debt, so the player must cover all expenses each year. Even if a bill is vetoed, the computer may override the decision. Every 3 years, there is an election based up the current president's popularity.
