UNIVAC Startrek

UNIVAC Startrek is one of many Star Trek variant that lived on a Univac 1100 UTS 700 Mainframe. It was later ported to the SOL-20. The player is in control of the Enterprise and is tasked to destroy all the Klingon battle cruisers roaming around the galaxy of a custom size (3x3 to 10x10 quadrants). The player can move around and receive short range scans which will notify the player of nearby stars, starbases and Klingons. The player can also use long range scanners to check more distant quadrants. The player has various weapons to fight the Klingons with. Phasers deal damage to their shields (more damage the closer the player is). In defense the player can raise and lower shields which negate incoming damage but will give out eventually. Damage can be repaired at starbases. Black holes provide additional hazards for the Enterprise.
