Attack of the TRS-80

Attack of the TRS-80 is a 1-player text adventure for the TRS-80.

The colonists of Moonbase II have been forced to flee for their lives. A deranged Model I microcomputer has infiltrated the colony's central computer, and has taken over the base and all of its electronic inhabitants. Your mission: Find the Model I and destroy it, while avoiding the deadly robots which now patrol the station.

The player moves about different rooms of the space station view text commands N, S, E, and W. The player can pick up and drop items. At the begining of the game, the player can buy armor, weapons, and equipment with suspension of disbelief points. The player has limited alertness and disbelief, which can be lost in combat or by actions. Alertness can be restored by drinking alcohol. There is a combat system with randomly wandering enemy robots, where the player can use items and attack with weapons. If the player takes 6 hits in combat, or if alertness or disbelief are lost, it's game over.
