Change of publisher

In June 2021 it was announced the game's release would be pushed back from Summer 2021 to Autumn 2021. Next to the delay there was also a change of publisher. Originally meant to be published by The Irregular Corporation, the developer While Owls announced the game would now be published by Playism. It was stated the split between White Owls and Irregular Corp. was in a mutual agreement. The people of Irregular Corp. are still listed in the game's credits.

Crowd funding

The game was financially supported through a successful Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign where 12,613 backers pledged ¥81,030,744.
