Space Wrek

Space Wrek is a 1-player 1st person space shooter for multiple systems.

The player controls the USS Enterprise as it tries protect Federation bases from alien attack. Gameplay is divided into 3 sections: The sector map, the ship status, and the 1st person perspective. The player can accelerate their ship forwards, rotate 360 degrees, and fire directly forwards. The ship is armed with photon torpedoes which damage all enemy and friendly ships in an area, mines which can be placed to damage all vessels in an area, and phasers which fire directly forwards. The ship takes damage from enemy fire and ramming other vehicles, and is destroyed when shields and energy are depleted.

On each level, the player must destroy all alien vessels, while trying to avoid getting hit themselves. Aliens can also be destroyed by ramming them, at considerable cost to the player's shields. The player warps to a more difficult sector when all alien vessels are destroyed. Aliens also attack friendly bases, which must be protected. These bases can repair the ship's damaged or depleted systems. Between sectors, the player can encounter asteroid fields or mine fields, which must be destroyed to advance to the next level.
