Gates of Delirium

Gates of Delirium is a fantasy-themed RPG for the TRS-80 CoCo.

The player quests to find the 7 keys to the Gates of Delirium hidden in the dungeons and towers of the land. The game is almost an identical clone of Ultima III.

At the beginning of each game, the player creates a new character, choosing the sex, race, and class, and spreading 50 attribute points between strength, dexterity, intelligence, and wisdom. The single player can recruit further adventurers during their quest.

The player moves about from a top-down perspective, and can enter various castles, towns, and dungeons from the overland map. The player can talk to the various inhabitants of the land for clues to solve puzzles. Food, armor, and weapons can be purchased from various shops. The king will increase the hit points of sufficiently experienced characters

Combat occurs on a separate screen, where the player's party fights with multiple enemies until 1 team is destroyed.
