Chicken

Chicken is a simple arcade game about poultry in traffic. You control a chicken, who can move only in the vertical direction, and starts at the top of the screen. Cars pass horizontally along the road, and you must move the chicken through multiple lanes of traffic to the other end. The speed of the cars is roughly related to the difficulty level, which depends on your performance. The aim is to earn points by crossing the road as many times as possible within a time limit.

You start the game with 50 points, 30 time units (about 2 minutes) and the lowest difficulty. Each time you reach the bottom of the screen, you receive 10 points times by the difficulty, the difficulty is increased, and you are returned to the top of the screen. If you are hit by a car, you lose 20 points, the difficulty is decreased, and the game continues after shifting you slightly towards the top of the screen out of the way of the car. Every 300 points, you receive another 40 seconds of play time.
