One Pocket Pool
Description
One Pocket Pool is a relatively simple math/physics based game. A pool (billiards) table is drawn on the screen, with a single pocket in the right bottom corner of the table. The cue ball is placed randomly somewhere on the table, and you are told the horizontal position of the ball, on a scale of 1-100, but you are not told the vertical position of the ball (although you can see it on the screen).
The player needs to decide where along the top horizontal wall of the table to bounce the cue ball off, in an attempt to cause the cue ball to ricochet and land in the pocket. The player gives a horizontal coordinate of 1-100, and then the game shows the actual trajectory of the ball and whether it went into the pocket.
The game keeps track of how often the player succeeds and fails to get the ball in the pocket.
