World Witches: United Front

Everybody knows World War II, when the Allied Forces of the United States, Soviet Union, England, and others conspired to take down the Axis Forces of Germany, Italy, Japan, and their motley crew of deranged would-be dictators. But, close your eyes for one second and imagine an alternate 1944, when the Earth is under attack from a force far more dangerous than Hitler, Hirohito, and Mussolini: the Neuroi, an alien race who eat land masses for breakfast, with a side order of humanity. Now take into consideration that their numbers are ever-increasing and that no conventional weapon has any effect against them. Who can stop this extraterrestrial scourge of the skies? None other than Witches, young teenaged girls with the magical ability to counteract the Neuroi! And what better way to prove it than by combining two of the world's top fighter wings with a group of other exceptional Witches from around the world, to form the new 509th Joint Fighter Wing? But whether or not the 509th will fly is up to its general - you!

World Witches: United Front is a 3D shoot-em-up based on the Strike Witches mixed-media franchise where players play as one of 32 witches plucked from the combined forces of the 501st and 502nd Joint Fighter Wings, as well as a couple of other witches from various other units. In each battle, a unit of 3 witches is sent to shoot down any Neuroi in their way, with the player controlling the leader of the team. Each witch has a special skill that can be activated during the course of the battle. Winning battles levels up the witches, which can help improve their Striker Units and weapons. After each battle, the player can use either in-game currency or actual money to unlock rewards, including additional Witches and outfits. The player can also bond with the witches by giving them gifts, which can unlock the bonded witch's story. A story mode can be played, in a visual novel style with unlockable Witches and events.

Up to 4 players can battle against the Neuroi, with real-time co-op.
