Harlem Globetrotters
- Harlem Globetrotters (1990 on DOS, 1991 on NES)
Description
Harlem Globetrotters is a dedicated handheld that allows one player to play Basketball. The device takes the shape of a (flattened) basketball. The LED display displays half a basketball court with the position of the players. The player can move around with the arrow keys and must shoot the ball at the basket the moment there's no blocking defending player. When the shot fails the ball will either be caught by the defending players or bounce after which either team could gain possession. There are also "trick shots" which involve bouncing the ball along the sides of the screen to try to hit the hoop, and a long pass option to send the ball over the defenders to another offensive player. There are two different skill levels (game speeds).
