The game opens with a short story showing the creation of the titular Ribbit Rabbit.
It gives the player a basic tutorial.
The game's levels are split up into 4 worlds.
Each world has 10 levels, for a total of 40 overall.
The first level is very basic.
You can't go straight to the right due to how the Ribbit Rabbit moves.
The fifth level has areas of land the player can safely move across.
The sixth level has a maze with strategically placed water holes.
The player can't jump past the wall of flowers.
