Description
Lunar Rescue is a 1-player arcade game for the TRS-80 CoCo.
You are a member of the Lunar Rescue Squad, in charge of rescuing lost astronaut explorers. The player attempts to fly a spacecraft from the bottom left of the screen through mountains to rescue a stranded astronaut by lowering a ladder for them, and then travelling to the base at the bottom right of the screen. Gravity constantly pulls the ship down, and the player must use fuel to maintain altitude as well as travel laterally. If the player hits a mountain, runs out of fuel, or hits the astronaut, it's game over. There are 10 levels of difficulty, which determine mountain design and starting fuel.
