Description
Ground Zero is a 1-player arcade game for the Macintosh.
Your spies scouted their weapons. You designed defenses to thwart those weapons. Suddenly, the warning systems have been triggered. Missiles, smart bombs, and killer satellites are homing in on your cities. The aliens are coming, and you must react fast enough to save millions of lives.
The player moves a crosshair to control three turrets at the bottom of the screen, as they try to shoot down or destroy incoming alien missiles. If the bombs reach the bottom of the screen and hit a city or turret, they are destroyed. The player has a limited number of missiles to defend themselves with each level, and receives a bonus based upon how many cities are still standing after each air raid. There are 4 levels of starting difficulty.
