James Discovers Math
Description
James Discovers Math is an educational game about mathematics aimed at children aged three to six and part of Brøderbund's Active Mind series. It is centered around the Australian boy James. All activities are started from his kitchen. They include creating faces from different parts, telling time, shapes and their names, making a picture or designing a carpet using shapes, counting, addition, subtraction, and estimating and measuring with nonstandard units (such as pencils). Most activities have a free play option along with completing some specific goals. Clicking the TV leads to a number sing along and the book provides a number story. The game is fully voiced and everything is controlled through the mouse.
