👾 The lost Atari arcade game returns with Jeff Minter's Akka Arrh

G.I. Combat: Episode 1 - Battle of Normandy

aka: G.I. Combat: Episode 1 - Invasion in der Normandie

Description official description

GI Combat wants to bring you to the combats between Allied and Germans in Normandy '44. Battlefields are mainly Normand bocages and villages, interesting for some ambushes.

Developed by the creators of Close Combat series, GI Combat is a try to put this Close Combat system into a 3D engine: simple but efficient orders system, requisition points in order to make you own company and real time strategy. You still command up to 15 squads and/or vehicles (about a 100-men company). The morale, the amount of ammo, and ballistics are still represented in order to play a realistic game.
