Lauren of the 25th Century

Lauren of the 25th Century is an educational adventure game designed for pre-teen girls.

Set in the 25th century, Lauren hopes to obtain the Order of the Sun by managing a land reclaimation center in the desert and protecting the fragile lifeforms there.

The player starts at their ranch, where they can pack 2 items for their expeditions out into the desert including a tent, a gun, and other survival essentials. Lauren must carefully control her limited water resources, ensuring that she, her camel, and her crops are well watered. The player explores the surrounding environment looking for and collecting resources to aid their farm, and the danger of dehydration is a constant risk. Lauren's computer helps monitor the water status and health of her crops, camel, and herself. Locations in the desert can be randomized, or the player can use the original land setup.
