Revenge of the Quadra

Revenge of the Quadra is a 1-player arcade game for the VIC-20.

The player controls a small vessel that can move in all directions and fire directly forwards. The player tries to protect the pods at the bottom of the screen from descending alien vessels. As alien vessels grab pods they can be shot to drop the pods back to the ground again. Asteroids and alien fire comes from the side of the screen. If all pods are captured it's game over. The player starts with 5 lives, and after sufficient alien vessels are destroyed to player advances to a more difficult level.
