Yoru, Tomosu

Yoru, Tomosu is a horror-themed yuri visual novel set in an all-girls school. As the protagonist, Suzu Izayoi, the player periodically makes decisions that will determine the outcome of the story. The game features voice acting for all significant characters including the protagonist. There are several bad endings that can achieved, but only one "true end".

During the Taishō era of Japan, the Kagurahara Girls Academy was a strict boarding school for young ladies that did not allow its students to leave under any circumstances, essentially keeping them as prisoners. To help each other survive the harsh environment, the girls created a system where pairs of girls could become "sisters" to watch each other's backs after exchanging their most valued possessions. This system continued until two "sisters" were found dead together in an apparent suicide while holding the items that symbolized the bond between them, wanting to be together forever in death, but the teachers confiscated these items and sent them away, denying the girls their last wish. As time passed, the school building was eventually closed down, and rumors began to circulate that the place was haunted.

In the present, Suzu Izayoi is an orphan girl who spends her days happily practicing music with her friends in the school's music club. While working on a project during summer break, Suzu has a disturbing dream involving a "sister" that she has never had. Although she initially tries to disregard it, Suzu is shocked when she returns to school and meets a new transfer student named Yuuka Sumeragi who appears identical to the girl from her dream. Yuuka joins the music club, but quits after listening to Suzu and her friends perform, calling their work an "insult to music". While wondering how to approach Yuuka, Suzu finds an invitation to talk at the old school building, but upon arriving there, Suzu finds the corpse of the music club president, who had apparently fallen from the second floor. Now scared for her life, Suzu must reconcile the events of the present with the sins of the past to solve the mystery of the murder and save her friends.
