Storymaker
Description
Storymaker is an educational game which allows children to create movies. It is licensed from the Barbie doll brand.
Inside the scene studio, players can create scenes which are later used to make the movie. The available items are: the setting (the background image), the items in the scene (for example a butterfly or a fish bowl), text (as introduction for the scene; optionally a narration can also be recorded over the microphone), music, characters (normal characters can follow a path which the player draws into the scene and others have a special animation like sitting down) and special effects (e.g. a sunburst or a sound effect). The created scenes can be spliced together in the editing studio and the complete movie is viewed in the screening room. The game also features a paint studio where the available background images can be recolored or players can create completely new images to be used in the scenes.
