Primal Hearts

Primal Hearts is a Japanese romantic comedy visual novel with adult content. The player controls Kazuma Tatewaki, a student who faces a dilemma when he realizes that he holds the deciding vote that will decide the future of his school. Ainoshima Academy is ruled by two student councils: Gekka, which mostly tries to uphold the school's culture and traditions, and Tendo, which focuses on making school more fun for students. Whenever the councils disagree on a proposal, the students vote for which council's decision they believe should be upheld. The latest proposal has resulted in a tie of 776 votes on each side - and only Kazuma, with his 777th vote, can break it, causing the leaders of both parties to try to get his vote. Gekka is led by the elegant and refined Sera Kuragano and her cheerful secretary Yuzuki Komagata, while Tendo is led by the charismatic Haruhi Tenjindaira and her vice president, the doting Kana Kanna. As Kazuma debates all kinds of matters with these four girls and more, he explores his own feelings, including love.

Like most visual novels, the gameplay consists of reading through the story, interacting with characters, and periodically making decisions that may cause the story to branch off into different routes. Each of the four main heroines has an associate route in which they can be romanced. The game features voice acting for all significant characters except the protagonist and contains explicit sexual content.
