Wraithquest

Wraithquest is a role-playing game for the VIC-20.

Welcome to the dark land of Toolin. The player's quest is to recover the four treasures of Almoron, hidden in lakes and forests of the land. The player must travel this dark land besting the monsters and evil spirits that inhabit it. These treasures must then be returned to one of the castles to gain a reward.

The player can choose from the classes: warlock, scholar, savage, warrior, or healer. The player then heads out to explore the land, consisting of forest, water, and 2 castles, in search of the 4 treasures. The player is frequently attacked by monsters during the search.

In combat the player is sometimes given an option to retreat. Each round in combat is in real time, and the player can use their sword to attack the head, body, or leg, or can use their PSI power to cast a spell on the monster.
