A charming point and click adventure at sea

The Good
I was very surprised when I finally got the hands on the full version on this adventure game, I played the demo lots of years ago and loved it, plus the fact that it's a rarity.

Where can I start...

The game creator seems to have a wide knowledge about life at sea (fishing procedures, boats and all that ), and that gets seen on the game greatly, as the game environment it's very well done, thanks also to the graphics, for being the work of just one guy they are very well done, alongside the sound effects and the music it gives a nice sea feel.

You can interact with lots of things and get amusing results and responses, and that's always welcome in an adventure game. Also the description text it's very rich and well written, like in the old sierra games, where clicking with the eye icon always gave a full explanation of the scene.

The Bad
There is a part in the beginning where you have to fish a lot and then sell what you have caught (it's not a mini-game, don't worry, it's done like a puzzle), this might get a bit tedious for hardcore adventure gamers, I wasn't annoyed though and found this part to be ok.

Also the lack of inventory puzzles might bother adventure gamers, and the puzzles are very easy by the way.

And well, I really disliked the "explosion" sprites, they were really odd, they looked like a lollipop or something similar.

The Bottom Line
This game it's like a little unknown jewel waiting to be discovered by you, you might finish the game in 8 hours or so, but this game is a nice experience and worth playing.
