Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable

Madoka Kaname: a middle-schooler who was offered a contract to become a magical girl and fight witches, not realizing that magical girldom is nothing more than suffering, pain and despair.

Sayaka Miki: her best friend, who contracted and succumbed to said despair and became a witch.

Kyoko Sakura: a veteran who lost her family to a murder-suicide after contracting.

Mami Tomoe: a magical girl who made the ultimate sacrifice for her cause.

And Homura Akemi: a time-traveling magical girl who has been trying over and over again to stop Madoka from contracting and bringing about disaster to the world.

Together, their paths have crossed countless times in countless timelines, and every time the results have been more or less the same. Time and again, the results of their collective actions have resulted in Madoka dying, Madoka turning into a witch, the world falling into chaos, or other such calamities. And yet, there still remains that one distinct possibility that somehow, somewhere, one little action can change the future...

Based on the anime/manga series "Puella Magi Madoka Magica", Puella Magi Madoka Magica Portable puts a single player in control of the 5 main characters from the series, as they battle against dungeons and witches alike. In between the dungeons, the action shifts to a visual novel style, where the actions taken (mostly as Kyubey, but sometimes as Homura) can change the magical girl's fighting and/or mood. Each girl has their own route, with different branching paths depending on the actions taken. These actions, combined with the stats of the girls, can help change their fate for the better... or for worse!
