Pac-Man: A Tribute to the Great Game
Description
A homebrew Pac-Man clone, closely following the arcade classic, both in appearance and gameplay. The screen layout has been altered, with the playfield at the center and scores, lives etc. on either side. A great deal of attention has been paid to replicate the original's control mechanics and how the ghosts behave.

Trivia
Nick Marentes, the developer wrote the game from scratch, having no means to reverse-engineer the game mechanics, graphics and audio. He had to closely watch the ghosts' behavior at the arcades to study how each individual acts and coded accordingly. He also observed the arcade's graphics and consequently drew everything on his Amiga. For the tunes, he made cassette recordings of the arcade machine and made samples off of them.
