The Dream Machine

The Dream Machine is a text adventure for the Dragon 32/64.

A sudden disturbance in the fabric of space caused a warp. The player finds themself in a dimly-lit laboratory. In the centre of the lab is a large machine. Suddenly a face appears in mid-air. "Help me!" it cries, "I have been caught by a devil. Use my dream machine and rescue me!" Then, the face is replaced by a sinister, horned figure which scowls, "If you want the professor back then bring me 4 animals: a salamander, a basilisk, a minotaur and a golem."

The player must search through four different areas, transported by the Dream Machine, to find the four creatures. The player can also explore the old Victorian home where the machine lies in the basement.

All command are via VERB NOUN entry. There is a save/restore feature.
