Description

D.C. II: Da Capo II is the sequel to D.C.: Da Capo, a Japanese adult romance visual novel with supernatural elements. The story takes place 53 years after the events of the first game, returning to the fictional Japanese island of Hatsunejima where the sakura trees are forever in bloom and the people who live there gain mysterious supernatural powers.

This time, the player takes on the role of Yoshiyuki Sakurai, a teenage boy who grew up as a foster child in the care of the Asakura family. His adoptive sisters are Otome and Yume Asakura, the granddaughters of Junichi and Nemu, while his adoptive mother is Sakura Yoshino, who mysteriously seems to not have aged or changed at all since of the events of the first game. At around the same time that Yoshiyuki begins to develop romantic feelings for several of the girls in his life, including his stepsisters, the magical sakura tree on the island starts malfunctioning and granting all wishes regardless of how impure they are, putting Yoshiyuki and his friends in danger. If Yoshiyuki wants to save his friends, he must uncover their closest secrets and decide where his heart truly lies.

The visual novel gameplay of Da Capo II revolves around interacting with various characters and making decisions that may cause the story to branch off into different routes. Each of the game's six heroines has an associated story route. Aside from Otome and Yume, the other heroines who can be romanced are: Nanaka Shirakawa, the lead singer of a band at Yoshiyuki's school; Koko Tsukishima, Yoshiyuki's shy childhood friend who is secretly in love with him; Anzu Yukimura, Yoshiyuki's mischievous classmate who enjoys teasing him; and Minatsu Amakase, a humanoid robot who initially distrusts Yoshiyuki due to mankind's mistreatment of her race.

The PC (Windows) version of the game includes scenes with explicit sexual content which were removed for the mobile versions.
