Windows screenshots

thumbnail
The title screen and menu. All guidance is given in the little window in the upper right
thumbnail
The icons on the far left add layers to the image. The stars on the left are the controls and the top star opens the load/save menu
thumbnail
Three portrait images are provided but there are no hand images nor are there any full length images
thumbnail
Centring the image, i.e. telling the program where the eyes are, is very important because this seems to determine where other layers are placed
thumbnail
Here I've added a new hairstyle from the picklist on the left. The fit is not perfect but that was corrected by grabbing the left border and moving it inwards
thumbnail
The new eyebrow's default position is not quite right so it will need to be moved and stretched a bit. Things like eyebrows are applied individually and not as a pair
thumbnail
The standard eyeshadow and blusher are applied as fixed shapes whereas the application of the Miners cosmetics can be customised.
thumbnail
That eyeshadow was all wrong for her skin tone, it had to go
thumbnail
Because I was working on a big screen I found it more convenient to separate the windows. I also had problems clicking on the smaller layers like eyeliner and using the list helped
thumbnail
Contact lenses, mascara and glasses have been added. Note the glasses are from Claire's Accessories
thumbnail
Glasses and blusher have been added, now a standard set of Miner's lips has been moved into place and stretched to fit
thumbnail
A set of earrings from Claire's Accessories has been added and now a necklace is being positioned and stretched to fit. The earrings are applied individually so just one can be worn or the pair can be different
thumbnail
I think the crown may be just a little bit over the top although it would match the 'Princess' necklace and earrings
thumbnail
The last four options on the left are Face Art, Body Art, Nail Art and Bracelets
thumbnail
In the upper right there is the Miners cosmetics menu
thumbnail
Through the Miner's cosmetic menu it is possible to define specific areas of the image. I chose the whole face partly because it is easier and partly because apart from lipstick I don't know what goes where
thumbnail
Ooops! I appear to have applied lipstick to the image
thumbnail
Applying Miner's Megadust has given me that recently dead look which is not what I was looking for. Clearly this takes a bit of practice
thumbnail
All work must be saved manually
