Dune Rider

Dune Rider is a 1-player Moon Patrol clone for the BBC Micro.

The player is a galactic courier, commissioned by the people of Zennon to run the blockade of aliens besieging their planet with documents vital to the planet's defense. Controlling a dune rider, the player can jump, move forwards and backwards, and shoot vertically or straight ahead while avoiding incoming alien dangers.

The dune rider has limited fuel, which is obtained by destroying larger alien vessels. The player must also jump over lava pits, and shoot radioactive rocks before they are safe to jump. The player starts with three lives.
