Starting the game.
Name selection... using slimes...
It all starts with this.
Swotsy lifts the Warrior Flute off His Royal Wobbliness.
A small movement tutorial. Fun fact - you can knock all the text and windows around by smashing into them.
To make sure you figured out the controls the game lets you play a little loosely timed mini-game.
Just as soon as you play the Warrior Flute a palace guard shows up.
..and your town gets demolished....
The town gets demolished by an army of Platypunks!
..and their giant Platypanzer tank!
As our hero had to swallow the warrior flute to keep it from being discovered, Platypunks mistake him for a slug and don't bother kidnapping him.
Platypunks wheeling away all the kidnapped slimes.
Saving progress.
Walking around the demolished town.
You can carry up to three objects.
Loading objects onto carts returns them to town. You can also do that to monsters who don't particularly mind.
Hi there kitty-kitty!
Rescuing a big fat blob.
Whenever you come across an area covered with leafs, try to uncover as much ground as you can - nobody knows what's under all those leafs.
Descending into a well.
Battling a whole bunch of mole-things.
Crashing into some jars.
Sweeping up leafs.
A health-recovery platform in action
Entering a boss-room.
First boss
Almost done killing the first boss.
Congratulations! You have rescued His Royal Wobbliness!
And now you need to outrun the Platypanzer while carrying the blob-king on your back!
In the blobby throne room
World map
The desert zone
Some enemies here are capable of lifting and carrying objects as well.
Jilcats LOVE Catnip sprouts. Whenever they come across one they become completely and utterly useless.
A Platypunk is stuck in a sand pile. You have no choice but to rescue him.
More useless little Jilcats...
Rolling through a bunch of debris.
