Spitfire Command

Moby ID: 212981

Description

Spitfire Command is a 1-player arcade flight game for the BBC Micro played from the perspective of the cockpit. The player takes control of a World War II-era Spitfire fighter plane, and attempts to protect Britain from the incoming Nazi air force.

The player starts with 100 damage points that constantly increase. If enemy craft are lined up in the plane's sights, they can be shot down. The player loses damage points as enemy craft approach. Soldiers parachute from planes, and these can be shot for extra points. If damage reaches 0, the player is shot down. There are six levels of game play.
