Fun! Fun! Pingu: Yōkoso! Nankyoku e
Description
Fun! Fun! Pingu is a 3D adventure game based on the children's claymation show Pingu. In five short episodes with an overarching background plot about a shipwrecked penguin, you can explore Pingu's village on the South Pole and meet characters from the show like Pingu's family and Robby the seal. The gameplay mainly consists of exploration and fetch quests, with a few simple minigames in-between. There are separate buttons to make Pingu do his trademark "noot noot" noise, as well as an astonished noise.
The game includes PocketStation support, with some voice clips, a biorhythm application, a timer and a matching game.
Except for a few menus, chapter title cards and minigame instructions, there is no language in the game, with the characters only communicating in gestures and pictograms, so the game can be played without any knowledge of Japanese, even though the game only came out in Japan.
