International Megasports / The Genesis Project is a package containing a 1–4 player Olympiad sports game and a 1-player 3D space shooter for the BBC Micro.

In International Megasports, the player competes in seven sporting events: High jump, long jump, 100m spring, 110m hurdles, archery, and skeet shooting. During each event the player is given three attempts to meet the qualifying score for the competition. The player can set records by hitting one of the three world record scores. All running events are controlled by rapidly tapping between two keys. The third key is used for actions like jumping or shooting. In skeet shooting, the player can fire from the left or right barrel from their shotgun as a target moves rapidly up and down. In archery, the player must deal with wind effects and set the angle of their shot to try to hit targets that move across the screen. In the high jump, the player must time their leap to not hit the post.

In The Genesis Project, the year is 2143 AD. The Star Federation has managed to maintain an extremely fragile cease fire between the planets within the six zones of the Gamme-Serti System. Now, planet Targon-3 has claimed a rare mineral Trilithium found on an asteroid.and, to reinforce its claim, has constructed six Cobolithium Detonation Devices in each of the zones within the system. The player has been given command of the advanced star cruiser, the Genesis Probe. The mission is to travel through all the zones and neutralize the devices.

Played from a 1st-person perspective, the player uses their twin Q-Class phasers to destroy incoming enemy vessels. Asteroids can be destroyed to harvest dilithium, which can be reprocessed into an explosive to destroy the enemy bombs. The player can access the intergalactic map and ship status, and hyperspace to different combat zones.
