Dodging Trump's Tariffs
Description
Dodging Trump's Tariffs is a short simulation where the player assumes the role of a CEO at a Chinese company that exports goods to the United States. Tariffs on goods to the US were raised significantly, and the player is asked to read several emails from the company's clients and make decisions for them on whether to pay the increased tariffs or try a number of workarounds to avoid the tariffs. Such schemes include as shipping to another country first, or reclassifying goods as a different category that is not overtaxed. Some business decisions will turn out favorably and others will not, leaving the clients pleased or displeased. After each answer, the game shows players some real-world data about that particular category of goods.
